As we have now opened up the photography holidays calendar for bookings for the 2018 season, it is very important that all visitors to our Photography Holidays, read and understand fully the information contained in the "Holiday Dates", "Terms and Conditions", "Travel" and "Accommodation" pages by utilising the Buttons above.
This page is very important and careful attention must be noted of all the information contained herein to avoid any misunderstanding at a later date.
1. Holiday Costs
Photography Holidays
Advanced Level Holiday Course - Euros 985.00 per week of workshops, solely One-on-One
Guests - Advanced Level holidays only - Euros 195.00 per person.
A maximum of two guests can be accommodated, one of whom will share the double room.
(Guests must be 18 years or older on arrival
Extra Days Holiday
Subject to time availability, photographers may extend the length of their holiday on a day by day basis if they wish.

2. General Information
The holiday date will be secured by the payment of Euros 200.00 non-refundable deposit by each participating photographer in the One-to One holiday programme.
The cost for each guest accompanying a participating visitor on a Advanced Level holiday is Euros 195.00 per guest.
The cost for the participating photographer on a Advanced Level and Entry Level holiday, includes all the photographic content of the holiday programme such as model fees, transport to and from locations plus usage of a fully equipped self catering apartment in Sedlarevo.
The cost also includes collection and return transportation to and from Burgas airport, or selected coach/railway stations in Yambol or Sliven, for all participants to both holiday programmes. The costs do not include collection and return from any other location.
The holiday cost for the participants and/or their guest(s) does not include travel costs from outside Bulgaria to the selected pick-up points within Bulgaria, any personal incidental transportation not applicable to the photographic programme or any transportation for a non-participating guest(s) at any time, except as detailed above.
Photographers and their guests who do not wish to stay in the provided apartment on the holidays, may stay in local hotels at their own expense and make their own way to the shooting locations on a daily basis. The workshops costs do not cover alternative accommodation and transport to and from the workshop shooting locations nor is any discount granted for non-use of the provided accommodation.
3. Food and Drink
The holiday for the participants and their guest(s) is on a self-catering basis only. Food, drink and meals are not included in the cost of the holiday.
4. Photographers and Escorted Participants
For participants in the Advanced Level programmes, the holiday period typically covers six nights accommodation of which five days are taken in the holiday programme activities described elsewhere on this website.
All participating photographers and guests must be age 18 years or older on their date of arrival except by prior written approval.
5. Workshops, Models, Locations and substitution
The workshops may be modified by the participating photographer if required, or may be altered or substituted by Photo Model Holidays if locations or a particular model of choice are unavailable on the day for reason or reasons beyond their control.
Where every effort will be made to provide models of choice or genre for a requested holiday, Photo Model Holidays reserve the right to substitute, wherever possible, alternative models that may or may not be of similar genre as was requested. Similarly, although every effort will be made to provide shooting at selected venues, Photo Model Holidays cannot guarantee shooting can take place at any of the selected venues due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. inclement weather, locations closed, excessive crowds, etc. However, if a shoot cannot take place in a specific location, a suitable alternative venue will be found for the shoot.
6. Extra Photo-shoots and Model Upgrades - Advanced Level holidays
An Advanced Level holiday covers four full days of photo-shoots with models from our Models list and includes one day of Fine Art Figure work, one day of Lingerie/Boudoir work and two days of general model photography including Portrait, Fashion, Street and Swimwear. The fifth shooting day is dedicated to lifestyle/landscape/scenic photography.
Model Rate
The genre of a model on a particular shooting day can be upgraded as per the rates shown below with prior notice. Similarly, photographers who wish to shoot a model in preference to shooting the Landscape programme, may do so as per the rates below.

Cost includes Model transport, accommodation and all expenses.
Extra Days Model Shooting
Subject to availability, a photographer to either holiday programme can extend their holiday on a day by day basis. The rate for each extra day's photographic shoot with a model from our Model's List is as follows:
General Model - Euros 95.00
Lingerie/Boudoir Model - Euros 115.00
Fine Art Figure Model - Euros 130.00
The rate includes the Model's transport, accommodation and all expenses plus the extra days accommodation and use of facilities for the photographer.
7. Programme Timing
On the holiday courses, a typical shooting day will, wherever possible, generally commence at 09.30 a.m. when the photographer will meet the Production Team and the Model to confirm presentation of the model for each days shoot. Shooting itself will commence when the model is prepared for the shoot, (approximately one hour later depending on photographer's Make-up requirements), and will finish at 16.00 p.m. There will be a 30 - 45 minute break for lunch during the shooting period at a convenient time. The shooting day, 09.30 - 16.00 includes time for the model to be made-up and for costume changes.
Where a night shoot is scheduled or requested, the shooting day will commence in the early evening as appropriate.
If, for logistical reasons, e.g. models public transport does not allow them to meet the timings, extra shooting time will be provided with a second model to compensate.
8. Booking
Prior to making any commitment to book the holiday workshops it is recommended that potential photographers read fully the important information contained below in 'Cancellation' and 'Holiday/Travel Insurance'.
By placing a booking, the participating photographer confirms their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To make a booking for the holiday workshops, identify the dates in the programme in which you would like to participate, and contact us by email or telephone to discuss your dates and their availability.
Participating photographers are advised to work holiday and flight bookings in tandem to ensure compatibility. Early booking of both is recommended to ensure both requirements are met.
For One-to-One photographers who wish to upgrade the model or shooting activity on any of the shooting days, or add extra shooting days to their holiday, please advise Photo Model Holidays for cost confirmation requirements prior to booking.
9. Payment
All payments for the holiday workshops are generally made via PayPal or direct transfer into our UK or Bulgarian bank account. For more information, please email us for details.
A holiday date can be secured for up to six weeks prior to arrival by payment of the non-refundable holiday deposit for each participating photographer, or secured totally by payment in full at the time of booking.
Payment for guests is made at the time the final confirmation payment is made for the holiday. (See below).
Any bookings made within six weeks of any particular holiday start date, are required to be made in full for both the participating photographer and any guest.
Upon receipt of an email or telephone booking, Photo Model Holidays will send out, via email, a PayPal or similar Payment Request for the deposit to secure that holiday date and, within eight weeks of the holiday date, a further Payment Request will be sent for the balance of holiday costs.
10. Deposit and Final Payment
To preliminary book a particular holiday, each potential participating photographer is required to lodge a non-refundable deposit of Euros 200.00 to Photo Model Holidays in order to hold a particular date.
On receipt of the funds for the deposit into Photo Model Holidays PayPal account, UK or Bulgarian bank account, the particular holiday date will be blocked against further booking until six calendar weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. (Guests of participating photographers are not required to lodge any deposit).
The balance of the holiday cost must be received at the latest six calendar weeks prior to arrival of the participating photographer together with the full holiday cost for their guest(s). Photo Model Holidays will send out a PayPal or similar Payment Request for the balance of the holiday cost, plus the cost for any guests, eight weeks prior to the holiday date.
On receipt of the required funds, the particular date will be 'confirmed' and will not be available for offer to other potential participant photographers.
If a provisional booking is not confirmed by receipt of the balance of the funds for the provisionally booked date in the required time schedule, Photo Model Holidays reserve the right to mark the particular holiday date as 'Free' for offer to other potential participant photographers.
11. Cancellation
In the event that a participating photographer has the unfortunate need to cancel their booking after full payment of the holiday costs, the following notice periods of cancellation scales will apply per photographer:
More than 42 Days - 100% refund less non-refundable deposit
42 - 35 Days - 75% refund less non-refundable deposit
34 - 28 Days - 50% refund less non-refundable deposit
27 - 14 Days - 25% refund less non-refundable deposit
Less than 14 Days - No refund will be made.
All 'days' are based on the date the notification to cancel is received by email or via telephone.
Guest payments will be refunded in full in case of cancellation irrespective of cancellation notice period.
As any form of cancellation is unfortunate to both parties, it is essential that all participants and their guests take out suitable holiday insurance cover at the same time as they make their provisional booking with particular cover for potential cancellation.
In the unfortunate event that Photo Model Holidays has to cancel a holiday booking for any reason, their liability will be restricted to a 100% refund of any funds or deposits received from the photographer. No further or incidental liability will be accepted.
12. Holiday/Travel Insurance
It is highly recommended that all participating photographers and their guest(s) take out full and appropriate holiday insurance to cover all risks for travel, medical, cancellation or other contingency for the period of the holiday.
